I just tried to re-do the “signature” portrait from a show I had at least fifteen years ago…”The Secret Diary of Chuckey Doak”.
There are, indeed, some things you can never go back to do again….particularly when, the first time you did them, you were already drawing something you’d done once, long ago.
….and, yes, I’m very fond of the vagueness of the varous meanings and implications of the infinitive “to do”. It’s useful for my purposes, these days.
