A fellow (and dauntingly active/energetic) Sewanee Alumnus recently posted a photograph of one of her daily walks, during this whole lockdown/quarantine regime. She, like me, is obviously fortunate in that we happen to be living in beautiful, wide-open spaces,,,,,and have the luxury of having, as our only complaint, our having to walk alone through such beautiful places. I thought regularly of that while painting this today.  I’ll admit to considering this one of the best things
I’ve done lately..but high-summer is, indeed, such a weird time….everything is still trying to reproduce, or has already done so…..etcetera,,,,
