“The Calling”

I just did/finished my first painting after the hospital. The title is “The Calling”. It’s of the farm view here. My good friend Ngoc Tran, was here for the afternoon…brought food and was lovely as ever.. Afterwards?….i finished this picture…. (and, yes,that hospital experience lingers horribly in my mind….six weeks later)….. and I looked at the scan and thought the painting wasn’t worth much (it really isn’t up to my usual show standards, but it does now exist)., but it IS good& genuinely lovely to have started painting again. Do I need to give particular thanks to the kind friends who’ve told me to begin painting again?….I hope to have sufficiently expressed my gratitude, already….
