Unedifyingly orthodox Anglican that I am, I participate in all the obligatory Christmas rituals/festivities/parties, etcetera.
That said?….I have, for decades, admired/envied my quite consciously pagan friends, for whom the entire season takes on a different meaning/import (and, yes, I’m talking at you, Miss Janet Kersey…out there on the coast of Cornwall).
