The picture is of “Christabel”…a very interesting cat that belongs to Laura Argiri, and with which (“whom”?) I lived for seven years.
In case you wonder?….the sparrows usually lost (she’s a very agile cat, and the windows in that old house are wide), and the cat won. I spent practically every morning being forced to recall that old line about “Nature, red in tooth and claw.”……
